Reading between the lines: they need a remedial section for unqualified affirmative action candidates.
Some really sharp docs are recent African immigrants. Guarantee you they want zero to do with natives who share a similar skin color.

I'd love to see the guy whose job it is to check to make sure that everyone really is of the race that they lay claim to!
And they could re-use those old Nazi charts on racial purity, too!
Of course, one would also have to measure their skulls...
Then, maybe it would be necessary to also deal with those of the "inferior" race...

After 50+ year, I am seeing more and more Scientists, Scholars, Politicians and Community Leaders saying (in kinda quiet way) that George Wallace was correct.
I would think it obvious that the children were first tested, and only then assigned - based on the test results - to come to school at either the usual time or an hour earlier.
The "Early Birds" and the "Late Birds" were undoubtedly referred to as such not because of their innate sleeping habits, but rather to avoid stigmatizing them with such designations as the "Smart Pupils" and the "Slow Learners."
Let me guess: You were one of those children that the school administrators said were "so smart" that you didn't have to come at all!

You haven’t got the subtext here. Its not really about early and late, but academic tracking. This is, or was, just another pretext to keep tracking.
Tracking is necessary, but it has been under constant attack for decades.
Duh. I’m not sure that black doctors would only see black patients, Asian doctors would only see Asian patients and white doctors would only see white patients. So how would such absurd “training” prepare medical students to deal with humans, period?
It looks like Gov. George Wallace was right after all.
Now the demand is coming from the OTHER side.
