Oh well :(
If you think about it; the reason they are using guys is because this whole transgender thing has exploded & it’s now a large part of their customer base. E.l.f. is good & inexpensive while great quality & they don’t animal test.
I would LOVE to know what percentage of trans, especially the men pretending to be women, are genuinely gender distressed & not doing it to be cool. I am imagining that a gender distressed person is a rarity. You hardly hear about the female to male version. Seriously, any company that thinks Dylan mulvaney is going to get someone to buy something is seriously mistaken.
He looks like a stickbug on speed with a bad nylon wig.
I’d rather buy animal tested than trannie approved. I don’t use a lot of makeup and I’d go without rather than support this.
Hope you find something you like :)
I hope I can find ONE unwoke!!
So sick of their pushing this on us.
Thanks.
It was really interesting to follow the back and forth of you two. It’s a side of life some of us are never exposed to.
I’ve got to respectfully disagree. I’m not aware of anything I buy that has a trans ad.
Has anyone made the connection between the trans thing & the trope in older horror movies (one could/would never dare be made today!) of the horror of the cross dressing man......I’m thinking of “Dressed to Kill” & an old movie with Ted Bessel that scared me half to death.
:)
@1974…Joe Namath and his Leggs pantyhose commercial.
That’s a great line. Comes from the famous U.K. pharmacy chain BOOTS. When I lived in London I would shop at BOOTS.
I think there are some brands that don’t do the trans thing. You make a good point about old horror movies. Trannies were portrayed as especially evil. I think the most famous one was “Psycho”.
I’ve been meaning to try it.
Guessing the freakish execs also want to have sleepovers
Duh,the most famous!
Be sure to tip your waitress!
Wrong. I might well boycott Maybelline. Which is a bummer because they have some good products.
And he’s not cute. He’s offensive. No way in a million years can that person compare to Audrey Hepburn. He’s a cariacture of a woman just as blackface entertainers in minstrel shows mock black people.
Same here. Boycott Ulta and Maybelline will join my expanding list.
Specifically, barring mutilation of minors. Yahoo leaving out that important detail.
I find him tiresome. And why does he have to be the spokesthing for all companies? That’s just repulsive.
