I’ve been “boycotting” Budweiser as long as I’ve been old enough to buy booze legally. It’s shitty beer.
For those of you keeping score, since it’s high of March 31st InBev, the parent company of Bud Lite, has lost over 5% of it’s stock price.

I see an emotional stock market. Come back in a month or a quarter. That’s when the market will be responding for real. That’s also when we’ll find out how many people boycotting bud light are accidentally buying other products owned or distributed by ABIB.

Be it promotional or for public consumption, do ya think AB they’ll be considering slapping any more transgender’s on their products stu?

Oh no, the boycott is generating the emotion. We know in the short term the stock market is very emotional. Has been since trading software got invented and trading started happening fast. Any kind of “bad” news makes stock plummet, in the short term. Miss your earning prediction by even a fraction of a percent your stock will drop the next couple of days by 10%. Which creates a great buying opportunity for non-emotional investors who see that making 99% of your projected profits is pretty good and buy cheap.
The market has been doing this for almost 30 years. That’s why I say wait a month or more. That’s when we’ll know. If the stock bounces back in 2 weeks so much for your boycott. If it turns out all the people boycotting bud light switched to Michelob light, Modelo light, and Stella then not much a problem for ABIB.
Time tells the real story. Wait and see.

Maybe. That’s always the difficulty of boycotting an octopus company. They have so many products, most of which are in completely different brands and have none of the logo on it. Heck I didn’t even know until this discussion Modelo was an ABIB company. I gotta look at my bottles when I get home.
They didn’t put a transgender person on their product drag. We already went over this. ONLY Mulvaney got these cans. Re-asking the same false choice question doesn’t make it less of a fallacy. It just shows you don’t pay attention.

Trust me stu, AB will not be slapping transgenders on any of their products for sale to the public in the future. They got just a taste of what would happen if the did. A win win for the boycott.
