America still has US troops in Syria though. Only some troops were withdrawn from Syria when Trump was President.

Also, Trump did it again in Syria (59 Tomahawk attack on Syrian/Russian base :

Trump was indeed a warrior.

“All Americans can be proud that when the Russian mercenaries attacked our American troops, we not only wiped them out, but we lost zero of our good guys.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes indeed, we can be very proud. I’m happy you have reacted like a an American patriot. But apparently some here were a bit “triggered” and not too happy about this info...
I guess those who were triggered might be Russians? It’s a logical conclusion.

US forces were supporting Kurdish troops vs the Syrian government. The Kurds were the principal manpower attacking and taking the ISIS “state” structure in Syria.

The Syria business was a multi-sided civil war, with the Syrian/Russian alliance being only one of the players.

It was the Kurds that took the ISIS capital of Raqqa

And crushed the last positions of ISIS

I would imagine you are pretty proud that the US is responsible 500,000 Iraq children deaths too in that illegal war. Probably as proud as Albright was, I bet.

Russia and the West happened to have a common enemy in ISIS.
They BOTH hammered Isis.

However, the true deep reason Russia hammered Isis, is only because they need Syria and its ports and harbors, and want to stay there as a strong permanent Russian outpost / base.
Its business and imperialism.

The fact that Russia happened not being a friend of Isis doesn’t make Russia a friend of the West. Right?

Indeed: The fact that Russia wasn’t a friend of Hitler during WWII doesn’t make Stalin a friend of the West either. Right?

Russia has been fomenting against American interests for almost a century, and its just growing and growing. And to do so efficiently, Russia has once again teamed up with every communist nation on the planet: China, North Korea, Belarus, Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, etc.... etc...
The USUAL suspects!

After all that, STILL be able to trust Russia is simply impossible. The Kremlin is our enemy. The Russian people has to free itself from its Soviet-inspired deep-state leaders in Moscow.

The Russian people wants to be conservative, but they are treated like crap by a Soviet-inspired regime that is a big-government huge mess.

“”the Russians were attacking us. We fired back. They died. End of story.””

I remember a one-on-one interview with President Trump after this incident. President Trump clearly warned Russia, stating we are going to do this (respond) if we are attacked. If any Russians are in the area, they will die. Leave the area if you want to live. The idiots remained, and died.

Reminds me of all the Drive-By Media before Kuwait, and later Iraq. Both times, the Drive-By had story after story about Iraq having the latest, the best Russian tech and equipment, that our sorry troops and pilots had no idea what they were in for. There were even some Russians with some of the anti aircraft guns. Soon after the start, most Iraq jets that could still fly high tailed it to Iran.

The difference is, we created Isis. They were part of the Syrian rebel force designed to overthrow the Assad government. The neocons were very bitter at the Russians for getting in the way of that. There’s a reason when Isis was on his rampage completely unchecked for the first year or so that nothing happened. Everybody remembers those convoys driving down open flat desert highways in broad daylight in matching Toyota trucks. Shiny new uniforms, and shiny new weapons. Our forces should’ve looked like the Stukas over Dunkirk. But you noticed there were no AC 130s overhead when Isis had its open convoys all over Syria and northern Iraq . The reason? That was our force doing what we wanted done until they got so far out of hand that the world turned on them. The neocons were very bitter at the Russians for ruining it.

That interview with Madeline Albright was in 1996. The half a million dead children was from Saddam Hussein who, as usual, was a total fabrication. Saddam was talking about saving the children, while using oil-for-food to line his pockets, build palaces, and use the Iraqi population as human shields. From the end of the Gulf War to the start of the Iraq War, Saddam was playing so many political games no one doubted if his lips were moving he was lying.

Still so dishonest you can’t admit it’s a proxy war between the US and Russia. Ukraine is just a beard.

“A white Christian force attacking Isis, and we killed hundreds of them.”

Wagner = “Christian force”? Laughable. Wagner had been avoiding ISIS east of the Euphrates. They were attacking the SOF base on Putin’s orders in attempt to force a US withdrawal so Wagner could occupy the base.

There were ROE and MOAs between the US and RUS but Putin thought he could skirt them using Wagner directly against SOCOM forces.

Absolutely irresponsible and thoughtless on Putin’s part. He sent them into a slaughter on purpose. Straight into entrenched positions of mortars, machine guns, miniguns, artillery, helos and fixed wing gunships. A lot of them were simply vaporized.

Yeah, that’s your guy.

“How times change. Who ever thought Freepers would have a hard time putting Trump and the US military above Russia?”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Very well said.
Indeed, some here got their minds hijacked by Soviet-style propaganda coming from the Kremlin.
Some freepers criticize the Washington deep-state while giving a pass on the Kremlin deep-state! Isn’t that cute?

Those freepers have forgotten that Putin has imprisoned all conservative political leaders - those who want less big government in Russia are indeed being persecuted, imprisoned, or killed by their OWN Government!

By supporting Putin, they support an old Soviet era system where the individual has little value. Only BIG government and its total control of the Russian people’s lives is was matters for Putin.

“the US is responsible 500,000 Iraq children deaths too in that illegal war.”

Liar.

Saddam is dead but you’re still Pimping for him. ...Because he was trained by KGB and you’re probably still brainwashed by them.

“Estimates of excess deaths during the sanctions vary widely, use different methodologies and cover different time frames.[10][50] The figure of 500,000 child deaths was for a long period widely cited, but recent research has shown that that figure was the result of survey data manipulated by the Saddam Hussein regime.[14][15]”

“Maybe we can bomb some more Serbians. That was such a great plan.”

.......

You remember what kind of Stalinist Milosevic was I hope?

Also, America NEVER annexed any nations in Europe, and not Serbia. Serbia is a free sovereign nation today.

Russia though had invaded AND annexed half of Europe !!
When the communist wall fell, all those previously occupied EU nations freed themselves from their Russian tormentors, and demanded urgent protection from NATO - good move - that prevented Russia to invade them AGAIN!

The only reason Russia is trying it’s old Soviet-commie trick by invading Ukraine... is simply because Ukraine got rid of its nuclear weapons and wasn’t part of NATO. SO.. it became an easy prey for the neo-Soviet Russia and their KGB/FSB accomplices.
