Most young men are single. Most young women are not.

They also make fun of the incels.

They really shouldn't do that. Incels have been known to kill other people. Just look at the story of mass murderer Roger Elliott, whom other miserable incels called a "supreme gentleman."

That group is mostly gone as an organized force when it was banned years ago. Incel is used far more as a term by feminists against their opponents these days.

There definitely is a logic to women marrying guys who are older for the reasons you stated.

The problem is that many want guys their age BUT only the top 10% or so. They then piss away their most valuable asset - their youth - and after failing to land the triple 6 guy they wanted while in their 20s, they figure they can circle back and now get those guys their age they just spent their entire youth rejecting. Those guys of course then return the favor once they're both in their 30s and the guys now are starting to have success in their careers.

Yes, there are definitely risks involved but a woman is FAR LIKELIER to get a good man her age if she chooses him in her 20s. For example, my parents were high school sweethearts and married as soon as they finished college (not uncommon back then). I'm sure that when my dad looked at my mom years later all he saw was the girl who chose him when she had lots of other choices....which is why he never even considered leaving after becoming an anesthiologist and making good money by the time he finished med school and his mandatory sting in the army. She INVESTED her youth in him and PROVED to him that she really wanted him. That is goodwill she put in the bank that would never run out for the rest of their lives.

Show commitment and loyalty (and if you've chosen a good guy) then you get commitment and loyalty in return. Show none and invest nothing, you get nothing in return. That's where we are today.

Bingo. That's exactly what happens. They don't get realistic until their 30s by which point its too late. I can sort of understand someone making this mistake when they first start out, but dammit, you've got to learn. I made a similar mistake early on in my career.

I'd get a job offer that was good but not great. I'd turn it down because nothing less than great would do. The problem is the odds of me getting a job offer that was great were always very slim. So then I'd circle back to the one that was good. Only now I can't get that because I turned my nose up at it when it was offered. So now, I'd fall the next rung down the ladder and have to HOPE I could get something that at least decent - and there was no guarantee of that. I might end up having to take a job offer that was bad.

But as you get a little older and get burned a time or two, you start to learn. You keep your ego and your arrogance in check. When you get a job offer that's good but not great, you TAKE IT. And you be glad you got it. Sometimes that gets even better and/or opens doors to something you would have considered great. At worst you got something good and that's not a bad outcome.

Don't let great become the enemy of good. That's how you end up with nothing. I don't blame women for making that mistake a time or two. I do blame some for failing to learn in time....for failing to get their egos in check in time to end up with a good outcome. By the time they're in the latter half of their 20s, they really ought to be realistic.

Higher educated men want an educated woman. Doesn’t need to be PhD level but at least a bs and can hold a conversation Unfortunately, the educated women in America are beyond toxic... especially compared to foreign women.

You're right about feminism having ruined American women (not the initial wave of feminism that only sought equality - the later ones which told women to act like men and/or to hate men).

I spent a long time in school and I can tell you that the education level of any girl I'd be interested in was not that important to me. She needed to be attractive (by my taste), young enough (ie no older than her 20s), not have kids by another man, and be someone who is easy to talk to and get along with. The rest was negotiable. I ended up ALWAYS going with foreign women because sadly American women could not meet the above criteria.

They’re (young men) taking Cover.

“Family” law vs. marriage
The Two-And-Twenty learned.

When I Was One-and-Twenty

BY A. E. HOUSMAN

When I was one-and-twenty
I heard a wise man say,
“Give crowns and pounds and guineas
But not your heart away;
Give pearls away and rubies
But keep your fancy free.”
But I was one-and-twenty,
No use to talk to me.

When I was one-and-twenty
I heard him say again,
“The heart out of the bosom
Was never given in vain;
’Tis paid with sighs a plenty
And sold for endless rue.”
And I am two-and-twenty,
And oh, ’tis true, ’tis true.

“Higher educated men want an educated woman.”

Hubby is PhD in Physics. I only have two years of college. My IQ is higher. I rely on him in some facets of our life, and he relies on me for other things.

He still doesn’t understand his flip phone, much less smart phones. I handle the tech stuff. He’s the finance guy, and I can’t even say what he did in his career.

Yep. Education does not equal intelligence....and I have 2 grad degrees. But I’ve never been a snob about it and always detested those who were.

LOL - you sound like my husband. We were married for two years before my parents knew he was a “Doctor”. He hates when people call him that outside of professional situations.

Backs up the claim that Black Pigeon Speaks makes in his iconic and, probably, my favorite online video, "How Women Destroy Civilizations"

"If women's sexual preferences are liberated and go unchecked, they destroy civilizations. If women are allowed to choose, harems form".

That IS a great video.

The 80/20 rule is now confirmed by multiple data sets, thanks to online dating and “dating” apps (the latter matches aren’t really dates, we used to call them something else).

80% of the women who use these services consistently find only 20% of the men acceptable. And, since the currency of the mating market has switched (with exceptions, etc, blah, blah, blah) from potential as a father or mother of one’s children to skill in the sack, the numbers predict that each of the top 20% of men will have 4 simultaneous female sex partners.

Now, it doesn’t work out like that, a) because 4 involves a lot of heavy lifting and men have other things to do, and b) Of the 80% XX people who find 20% of the XY people acceptable, not all of them are cool with being in a harem.

But - enough of them are cool with it to render the fraction of the 80% of “unacceptable” men unpartnered on a permanent or semi-permanent basis pretty large, and it makes some of them crazy.

“There’s someone for everyone” was a nice story, and when it was mostly true, was a factor in social peace. Now that it is glaringly, obviously not true, we have a serious problem.

Back when people lived all their lives more or less in the same town, the pickings were slim, you had to find somebody in your teens, or else you would be stuck.

And no woman wanted to be referred to as an “old maid” or “spinster”.

There is truth to that. Unfortunately, I have seen some guys dump their loyal wives for younger, more attractive ones.

Absolutely true. I’ve had more women interested in me when it was obvious I was attached than I ever did if it was plain I was single. Never could figure out women.

Women pick men who can support children. If a man is with a woman, it’s likely he can.

It happens. Some people are just scumbags. A woman has to assess the character of the man she chooses. For the guys who marry early, have the wife support them as they get established in their career and then dump her once he's successful, I have utterly no problem with the courts giving her at least half the wealth and big fat alimony. She deserves it in that case.

Being single will save you a thousand times more stress than being in a bad relationship.

I think we have to admit that our younger generations of men are not the stuff of our fathers or grandfathers....or even today's older men....

its very sad....

I don't want illegal immigration but my Lord, we need some fresh blood in this country...
