did you ever experience what this woman went through?...
Didnβt one report say she heard one of the victims crying?
Do have enough brain cells to know that there are some things you don’t have to go through to know what you’d do if it happened. π
“didn’t one report say she heard one of the victims crying?”
I don’t know but my guess is if this was a big party house there’s some other reason she didn’t call the cops like maybe they needed to get rid of the drugs or somebody was turning the occasional trick in their bedroom. Who knows? Paralyzed by fear just doesn’t pass the smell test.
my father was a police officer for over 30 years in prince georges county maryland...
i was a tow truck operator and repo man for 26 years in the same area...
your arrogance is going to get you hurt...
Your father would tell you to barricade yourself in your room and call 911. π
From what I have read, the house was noisy and used to late night escapades. There is a video of cops talking to Kernoodle some days or weeks before murders cause neighbors were complaining about noise. Perhaps Dylan didn’t want to call cops on her housemates Also, supposedly Kernoodle and boyfriend ordered taco bell delivery at 4 am that day. So Dylan could have thought perp was delivery guy wearing mask in the cold air of early AM.
Plus lots of drunks cry when they are drunk. Especially young ones...lost loves, found loves, loneliness, manipulative behaviour, etc...
You have a good point...but kids nowadays are out of touch with the way the world works with their preoccupation with electronic fantasy, drugs, pleasure vs. reality. Don’t expect them to be cognizant.
Also, supposedly the perp was spying on the victims...he might have thought that he might be only one of many suspects.
Wearing a ski mask in Idaho is not exactly newsworthy.
And you are assuming there were not people coming and going at all hours in that house.
And we donβt know the relationship between all these people. I had a house mate who would have all sorts of creatures skulking around the house at all hours. You roll over and go back to sleep. And keep your door locked.
thank you for proving you’re an idiot...
I get the impression he was wearing a covid mask over his nose and mouth.
The police report said this surviving roommate described his eyebrows as bushy. If he were wearing a ski mask, his eyebrows probably would’ve been covered.
I've been following the crime a bit. The police visits happened at the start of the fall semester to the best of my recollection. The police told them too cool and it appears they did. There haven't been any reports to date that suggest the accused killer visited the apartment prior to vicious murders.
I read an article by a woman whose roommate was raped and bludgeoned (and survived) in the 90’s. She explained how this surviving roommate might not have known a violent crime was happening.
In college in the 90’s, she went home late one night and heard noises in her roommate’s room. She assumed the roommate’s boyfriend was spending the night. She fell asleep in her own room. At one point, while sleeping, she sensed in her dreams that a man came into her room briefly.
The next morning, she awoke to find her other roommates helping that roommate. She saw that roommate unconscious and vomit all over the room. When the paramedics arrived, they said the word “blood,” and that’s when she saw the sea of red and realized she wasn’t looking at vomit.
I can see how someone’s mind might not register that the worst is happening.
Because we read the news everyday, our minds might go to the worst case scenario if we hear a scream or crying. But, how many times have we all heard screams outside, only to find that kids are playing around. In an apartment, how many times have we heard arguments with screams and crying in other units, and we never call police. I’ll stop to listen carefully, only to make sure it’s only an argument. But, I never called the police. And, once a young man drowned, right in front of a crowded beach, where his friends and family, and my family including my kids, were relaxing, and none of us noticed it happening. I still feel sick about that.
The Daily Mail had an update this morning. The young woman reportedly said she first opened her door to tell her house mates to knock off the noise. She opened the door a second time to do the same and that is when the killer walked passed her. She thought he was a guest.
