“So that means everyone is going to get struck down in their prime??”

Only if you have ovaries.

Away with all vegetable oils! Butter, lard, and tallow are all you need. Maybe a little chicken fat here and there.

“Seed oil is in everything except produce, dairy and fish. More important than sugar.”
_____________________________________________________________

Learned a TON more about what the SAD(Standard American Diet) causes when a very nice blockage was found in my RCA and my LAD(widow-maker) was clean. Started having very minor angina in late September(right side) after exertion. So we dropped sugar, carbs, all artificial sweetners(including the one, ACE-K, banned in EU but the FDA says it’s A-OK), and ADDED even more circulatory-cleaning supplements and food to diet. Dropped 15 pounds and pulled best “all normal range” numbers on lipid panels and bloodwork pre-op last week.

Yeah, the food pyramid is inverted, low salt may reward you with a trip to the ER for irregular heartbeat(my doc said add salt after seeing my numbers go low 10+ years ago when I tried to follow “low salt religion” and my sodium/chloride went low), seed oils + sugar/fructose/HFCS in EVERYTHING gives internal inflammation that destroys from the inside out.

Creating healthy patients is NOT a good BUSINESS MODEL.

“Luckily for me, Spam and Vienna Wieners aren’t processed food.” Thank you for telling me that. I was scared for a moment. For without those two food groups I would be left with only potato chips.

“ready-to-eat/heat foods”

too broad of a category to be included as “ultra-processed”, because that definition includes a multitude of healthy foods, ranging from fresh salads to pre-cooked meats and meals that simply need to be re-heated before served ...

Agreed, by the common American diseases for having paid close attention to the standard American diet of the past.
