ADD is real! Not saying it isn’t overprescribed, but it is real. I’ve been taking it for many years, and it is a big help with planning and being able to focus; especially on tasks you’d rather not be doing.
Adderall is also a huge benefit for cancer-related fatigue; for metastatic prostate cancer in my case. When androgen deprivation keeps your testosterone in the single digits, Adderall is a big help with having energy for work and other daily activities.
Don’t think so? Well I get my prescriptions for it at MD Anderson; the best cancer center in the world.
Did you read the link? It wasn’t a judgment, it was stating that they are both in the same class of amphetamines, they have the same side effects and warnings, and effectively function the same way.
