You don’t seem to understand that it is a badge of honor to be insulted by anyone supporting genocidal and mass murdering Kremlim filth. Particularly those sitting comfortably in their arm chairs underneath the US defensive umbrella while doing so.
I suspect a lot of Ukrainians speak Russian as their first language.
Kyiv was a Russian speaking city by choice until February 24th of last year. That’s all gone now. Forever. Bit by bit the “Russian World” shrinks now that the dangers of associated with it have been made crystal clear.

A friend of ours, who lives across the street, is from Poland.
She just recently went back to Poland for a month to visit family, and she said the exact same thing.

Think about it: Prior to Germany’s invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939 the Russians were playing off the Germans against the French and British; its only interest was itself: It would align with whichever gave the Russians the best deal (the Russians coveted Poland). France and Germany said that neither they nor Russia should take any part of Poland. Russia said, “Nyet! We want part of Poland, and if you don’t agree to that, we’ll go to the Nazis and make a deal with them!” Which, of course, it what they did.

Then I expect you to publicly call for Russia to immediately withdraw all its forces from all Ukrainian territory, per the national boundaries of 2013.
Will you do that? If not, you are supporting this war; and thus — per your own criteria — you are evil.

The Soviet Terror Famine in the 1930s killed at least 10 million Ukrainians. The Soviets took ANYTHING that could be food, along with all the crops. Dogs, deer, anything that could be eaten.
Also, it was long a practice to ‘resettle’ people far away from their homes. Besides the starvation, the Soviets moved hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians far away from the Ukraine, and installed Russians in their Ukrainian homes and cities. That way, in 10, 20, 50 years Russia could ‘claim’ they were only protecting Russians when they invaded again.

Why is it that anyone who opposes this "proxy war" that we incited in 2014 by overthrowing their government a "Russian shill"? I have. I’ve called for Russia to immediately withdraw all its forces from Ukrainian territory (per the national boundaries of 2013). If Russia does that, this war will be over.
But, of course, you don’t want Russia to do that.

Yes, the US is my country. Which country is yours? And, I don’t mean whatever country you may happen to live in at any given moment: I mean to which country do you hold allegiance?

Why would I do that? Giving support to a smaller and weaker invaded in fighting off the bigger and stronger invader — whose rationale for the invasion in the first place changes almost weekly — is nothing to condemn. If China invaded Russia along similar flimsy pretexts I’d be in agreement with supporting Russia against the Chinese invader.

You, on the other hand, support the aggressor; the party that STARTED the war. Thus, you support the attacker, not the victim. So, who is the warmonger?

Having served my country in the 82nd, and at a much later date served as an “advisor “ in SA ( drug wars) I have seen what our country UNDER this current administration is doing- destroying our country. I do NOT support this current corrupted administration, from Biden’s Covid vax hoax, mandates and shutdowns to boys in girls bathrooms, men in woman’s sports, gay marriage, Trans XYZ’s in every .gov agency….
This regional war has no importance to the US. In the past history, the US always had the sector of diplomacy, intentions of Peace, not war, war, war.
Wake me when the Ivans are on our borders or attacking the US. The Democrats have pushed the Russian Derangement Syndrome starting with Trump’s run for Presidency - and a large portion of low IQ Americans bought into it.

According to Fr. Ciszek in his “With God in Russia”, the Ukrain and Polish prisoners were uniquely sober and chaste in the Siberian prisons. Ciszek also talked about how thieves in the prison camps sole everything: food, blankets, etc., and how once a year a strong Russian leader would enter the prisons and caused the thieves to tremble in fear.
