85 hit him in the heart area. We’ve seen this happen before, but not to this length. The heart may be between beats and the hit at that exact moment stops them cold.
Or it could be something else like a blood clot.
All we really know is he had to have CPR right there on the field. We know nothing more at the moment.

From what I just saw it didn’t look like he took a blow to the sternum.
He made a clean tackle, got up without apparent difficulty, then collapsed backwards and hit the ground.

He’s dead.
Saw the hit and his jumping up were all nerves.
Friend of mine’s dad had a very similar reaction after falling on his head onto an ice skating rink. Got up and boom dropped like a rock.
Don’t count out those suicide shots either.

They just censored it. No Criticism of the thug and his teammates.

After the hit, he took three steps and then collapsed on the field.
Per ESPN...
CPR was administered on the field to the player after he collapsed. The ambulance took him off the field.
