Saw a comment from 4 minutes ago at one of the YouTube videos...
“For those who don’t know the player made a tackle and got up and collapsed on the field. The player heart stopped and he was not breathing cpr was preformed on him for 9 minutes and as of right now his heart is working and he is breathing. Prayers up for the team, him and family. ❤”

The idea of a clot being knocked loose and causing a heart attack seems not unreasonable. But IANADNDIPOOTV. With that said, the clot issue appears very real. See Malone and Kirsch’s substacks for lots of detail on the subject.
