...and told officers that he was an unhoused person trying to escape the rain...

“Unhoused Person” — another one for the Newspeak dictionary.
I posted something about this guy a month or two ago. Stanford security has a real problem.
I don’t see anybody wearing masks in the Bay Area anymore, unless you’re at a medical appointment.
Well he “identifies” as a Stanford student. That should be good enough.
/liberal logic
We had the same situation happen when I was in college way back in the 80s.
African American kid. Living illegally in the campus-approved dorms. Harassing all the girls. Dressed in school clothes. Going to all the parties. School authorities who would do nothing for months on end.
He was an Ivy League fantasist living the dream.
There was an old TV show back in the late 60’s early 70’s that had as it’s premise a kid who was attending classes at some college trying to get an education but had no money. He would attend classes under an assumed name of someone who was out sick or absent.
And the dean was always trying to catch him.
I can’t remember the name of the show...............
Judging by the type of muddled thinking from our graduates, plenty of people live in the dorms, pretending they are students.
When they graduate the same reasoning that allows this kind of thing to happen is used in daily post school life...as in, you don’t really belong here?....well, whatever. omg, I didn’t know!
The administrators coddle the paying customers,so they ain’t doin’ nothing.
The Kids knew, but were afraid to speak up.
The Administrators knew but were afraid to act.
The Cops knew but were afraid to enforce the law.
The Perp knew all this and kept on doing it...............
Hank?
WOW!....THAT’S IT!...........Thanks For the MEMORY!

Never saw the show, but based on the storyline, and the years, I found a reference on Wikipedia of all tv shows dealing with school. Very few from those years...so it was “quite elementary” ferreting it out
But you are welcome.
And that too
Those are good. Our kids will be information robots. Too lazy to figure out life.
Cho was only able to attend college because they treated him as having a disability. He was a voluntary mute.
