Nancy could have put all this behind her by tearfully coming out and asking for “privacy while her family dealt with this terrible incident,” blah, blah,blah.
But she is just such a vicious, ceaselessly political witch that she had to try to use it to smear and attack Republicans.
I think it backfired, because nobody would have cared if Paul Pelosi had hired a male dominator to come and tie him up and slap him around a bit. It’s apparently not uncommon among older men. Nobody would have been surprised.
But by trying to make this political, Nancy has called everybody’s attention to it, made SFPD look like idiots, made the press look even stupider and more partisan than they are, and kept it in sensationalist headlines for a week. Way to go, Nancy!

Ring cameras? Those are only used in low-price do-it-yourself security systems. Those are NOT something you would find in the home of the Speaker of the House, a couple worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and a house worth $50 million.

I just read the entire motion. It’s poorly crafted, written at a low grade level, and has numerous mistakes. I cannot believe a DA wrote that. If it’s genuine, it reflects poorly on Brooke Jenkins.
Where does the Elder Abuse charge come into play? Plenty of seniors are being assaulted on the streets of NYC & LA & Philly & even SF, yet I’ve never seen a charge like that before.
And the other ppl on the “hit list” are supposedly low level city/county/State officials and not even necessarily partisan, yet the media never mentions their names, which makes it sound like they’re in Congress or in Biden’s cabinet.
Yeah, after thinking about it, to a bum like him, every residential security camera would be a “Ring camera.” You’re right.
