O/T, my plans for September through November were disrupted...after being a victim of a "reorganization", i.e. owners decided to go younger and cheaper on the premise that Quickbooks was all they needed to run their finances, I planned on a break through Thanksgiving.
Several weeks into that "break", I was contacted by the HR Director at a real estate company in Downtown Dallas. I was interviewed on a Wednesday, hired on Friday, just completed my first month on the job.
I now thank my former company for making it possible. The only pressure I'm feeling is self induced, due to the welcome I've received. I definitely landed in the right place for what I call my "last rodeo".
