We will need a lot more global warming to evaporate more lithium.

Then, the water is progressively evaporated off, which leaves the lithium precipitate and several other minerals.>>> More global warming will help this lithium production.

They’re “fracking” lithium for electric cars!

Better to have slave labor in China do it out of sight and mind. /s

It’s gonna be like Soviet times.

“Glorious congratulations comrade. Comrade General Butasky has approved your superior Soviet Trabant automobile. You will have it in 7 to 10 years.

I have been there.
Only a few residential homes and ONE bar.
An hour after the work ends it is nearly a ghost town.

Too lazy to look it up but how is the precipitate refined to pure lithium - or is it? Lithium is, of course, highly reactive.

" Then, over the course of 18 to 24 months, solar evaporation concentrates the lithium."

You'd think that all that extra evaporation from mines, western irrigation and other water use would lead to more rain somewhere else.

“ Can we say “toxic”? Why yes, yes we can”

AKA ecological and environmental disaster created by brain dead libtards “saving” the earth.

So, it is just another toxic waste product associated with the production of lithium.

Gee! That's so environmentally perfect that it makes the EV's so great for the environment.

Honesty, I dont know... I kindda think its just like getting salt. Put salt water on a flat piece of land and let it evaporate and you’re left with salt. In this case you are left with lithium bicarbonate. I dont know if it has hazardous waste or not.
