There were notices posted in grocery & convenience stores throughout the Chicagoland area that EBT cards would not work today due to a planned outage.

I only know because I went grocery shopping yesterday (I *pay* for my food, not like these MOOCHERS!) and the sign was very prominently displayed at each register and upon entry into the store. Don't think this is a surprise...

Won’t make any difference, instead of paying with other peoples money they’ll just not pay. And as long as they’re bypassing the checkouts no reason not to grab booze and cigs and all the other stuff the EBT won’t pay for.
