Once, a long, very long time ago, when my wife was still a girlfriend,.”….oh, let me cut your hair….”
NEVER AGAIN. So bad it was, she said “oh that’s going to take awhile to grow out”.
—”’Curl Up and Dye’ “
I REMEMBERED!!!
The name was so familiar...
The “Blues Brothers” Carrie Fisher worked there.
It was based upon a real salon of that name, around 2830 North Clark in
Chicago.
Because bits of the movie were filmed in my area (DuPage), it was fun to know of the actual locations.
I actually read that as the barbers clip(ers) fell out, and the guy getting his hair cut has a chance to stop him.
As far as magazines, those are usually where the people waiting are.
Dude screwed up my mullet.
—”Dude screwed up my mullet.”
Is that possible?
I thought mullets were the result of scissors and a mirror?
And maybe some beer and an old girlfriend?
And you married her anyway. That there is true romance!!!
Yup- everyone a great and overreact when they feel “disrespected”, and that feeling can pop,up at any time over any issue, even as mundane as not getting pickles on a whopper or somehting.
Thanks for the perp picture. No shock. He looks like he is perfect in everything he does so those who are not perfect deserve to be shot, right??!!!
Come on, we’ve all been there—except for the actual reaction part.
That dude looks like AmbaLamps.
“I had a quite wealthy friend that cut his own hair. He just used a number two on his whole head.”
Smart guy. I pay $20 a month (including tip) for that exact haircut.
For the last 20 years of my wife’s beautiful life, only *I* trimmed her hair, straight across at the waist. I trusted NO ONE else, based upon a couple scissor-happy butchers hacking off way too much.
