Rogan seems to be a guy who can't comprehend the power and responsibility of freedom and liberty. He thinks the Deep State provides stability. In reality, it creates instability in order to justify it's control.

The Deep State has destroyed our educational institutions, our health care infrastructure; it releases criminals and declines to enforce the law, and promotes mental illness as normal and those who disagree to be considered bigots. And then there's climate change.

Just imagine (apparently Joe Rogan can't) how much farther advanced our society would be if education was excellent from grade school onward; if the health insurance conglomerate provided consistent and fair service; if criminals went to jail and our borders were protected; and if the sexual confusion of mentally ill people was treated for what it is. And if we had a common sense approach to using energy in a clean and responsible manner, which includes fossil fuels.

Those were people from all over the country who voluntarily came to DC. There’s nothing I can see to indicate the government, other than a handful of people around Trump, was involved in anything other than surveillance on that score.

Rogan confuses the value of institutional knowledge with the self-appointed, assumption of power beyond that of our elected officials.

Bingo! Civil service is different than the idea of a dynastic elite subset operating as a controlling group within all the government structures.

It shows a certain ignorance and desire to please.

This guy really is a cuck. He probably got the Boris Johnson mental adjustment which made him a total cuck.

He said he wouldn’t interview Trump. Probabaly out of fear.

Congratulations, you're the only person in the world to know every member of the deep state, how they make decisions, and what will be the result of Durham's investigation.

+100. This same cabal of career civil servants shapes our domestic and foreign policy, irregardless of who has been elected to political office or the desire of the electorate. This is the definition of a rogue, unelected shadow government beholden to no one nation, or any one people. I’m not sure who Rogan was interviewing but if h/she didn’t have this basic knowledge, the entire interview was a waste of time.

Rogan confuses the value of institutional knowledge with the self-appointed, assumption of power beyond that of our elected officials.

It's not an uncommon confusion. Many people don't value that knowledge and experience. "Draining the swamp" could mean losing that institutional know-how. Rogan is wrong in going too far, but so do many people on the other side.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having some institutional knowledge in the government. The problem is when those people start viewing themselves as the ones who should decide what the policy is rather than executing the policies of whomever is elected.

Poor Joe strayed a bit. Time to bow down to his masters.

Bingo! If he wants to keep doing what he’s doing he needs to kowtow.

There’s some value in letting other people talk and not pretending to know everything. Nobody should be your one source of information and opinion, and Rogan contributes by letting people voice opinions that are outside the heavily censored mainstream. Like Bill Maher and other liberal critics of wokeness, though, he’s afraid of going too far and losing his own liberal cred.

I don’t get the whole “Joe Rogan” thing. The guy just doesn’t seem very intelligent at all.

He's as intelligent as the guest on his show.

This is one of those "it depends" things. You'd want the minions in charge if the dictator was malevolenet, and you'd want the dictator in charge if he was wise and benevolent.

The way it is, the minions are in charge and they are taking advantage of absence of accountability. This arrangement also renders voting more or less moot, becuase unelected minions and experts have the bulk of the real power. Elected peeps are puppet actors, skilled at hand wringing and platitudes.

Everyone in the deep state after the election admitted that they did NOT carry out a President’s (TRUMP) policies/orders.

So if that is what JR is proud of then he’s the one who is compromised and anti America/Americans!

“Deep state” isn’t a conspiracy theory it’s the term for unelected officials with life time jobs stealing tax payers money.
