I don't think their behavior is much different then a coyote or fox. Supposed to be very shy and nocturnal, probably more fox-like in behavior.

Tried.
Just got a tree that did not have a nice straight trunk or easily peeled nuts but was even more susceptible to the fungus.
All in all, not a good result.
The GMO solution works but we keep dinking around trying to find a nut from a resistant tree that will breed true.
