Re. time keeper, it looked like that was the 1st wrestling match ever held at Iowa the way they kept screwing that up.
Cheating must be part of Brands philosophy. It was obvious that the PSU wrestlers were in better shape; bigger gas tanks, and whenever it looked like an Iowa wrestler was in trouble and needed a break they got it; Brands throwing the brick, time screwed up, Iowa wrestlers not returning to center mat.
A few PSU wrestlers have a bad habit of shutting down their offense after getting ahead. Bonus points were left in a few bouts.
Agreed. Wrestling @ Iowa is like playing volleyball @ Nebraska. You’re never going to catch a break. Just happy to come out w/ a win. Iowa hasn’t wrestled @ PSU in 3 years. Just a scheduling quirk, I’m sure.
