I can teach you, hardcore, brah. What do you need?

I got C#.NET, VB.NET, dotNet Core, T-SQL and SSIS/SMSS (with a specialty of SQL tuning for efficiency), Informatica (at the PowerCenter level), Dynatrace (at the API level), Azure DevOps, I’m very Agile, and now I’m getting into Oracle.

The new group I am in, I batted it home a few times, doing things I saw they needed and did it without asking. Just presented finished product. My new Manager says, I’m just what she wants in a Application and Systems Architect. I’m likely to be promoted this year, and that’s good for 25 to 50k extra.

Tell me what you need to learn and I will show you around. You would be an EASY person to teach. You already know most of it.

The government conspired with IT korporations to suppress wages in the industry. This is the inevitable result. The intelligent and capable employees who would have worked in IT won't go near it, leaving those who are too far in to change careers, along with woke snowflakes and H1B visa holders who can't deliver what customers need.

Work From Home is only viewed as a disaster because it exposes how many idiots were being carried by hard working staff.

Those I deal with that have the biggest issues with Work From Home are the incompetent mid-level managers who are now exposed as never having managed their staff but instead had "the group" mind the underlings for them. Higher level employees appreciate Work From Home because their subject matter experts are a screen-sharing session away. Our turnaround on certain tasks has gone from weeks to hours.

And thank you for the inspiration, too. I needed that.

Even worse there were positive comments left by employees applauding the move.

Oh buddy, we have an entire corporate social media platform (Yammer) that is an absolute leftist sewer. I know exactly how you feel there.

what is ironic, later in time, in the 80’s, was that I was the guy with the briefcae of my own, visiting defense contractors and subcontractors, with those famous words,
“I’m from the government, and I am here to help.”

I work in the IT department of a Fortune 500 company. We don’t have a woke environment, but the WFH issues certainly hit us.

“Decades in fact. I’ve worked with some of those un-fireable types. They cause negative productivity.”

i retired well before the wokeness cancer metastasized, but before that happened the un-fireables (which is everyone in gov-funded outfits, not just POCs) spent all their time stabbing the productive people in the back and creating other forms of chaos to cover their own lack of productivity ...

"it's not just tech...it's other fortune 500 companies. the woke agenda. the special groups for all but white conservatives. the silencing of conservative thought on internal chat pages."

companies think they're building unity within but it's quite the opposite. they're forcing employees to balkanize.

and with the wokies they're hiring the ceo's don't realize the virus they've brought into the workplace. the wokies are going to be demanding things....equity in terms of pay. for the ceo making millions those days are numbered."

This Woke BS has been going on for decades.

Since MLK was killed and LBJ started all of the Woke BS in every federal agency, state~county~city agencies and companies and their suppliers with his 'Great Society'!

Then, the Ivy League thugs, plus Stanford, Cal Berkeley, and USC thugs and fill in the blanks for the midwest and southwest in universities, started taking over American businesses from coast to coast and in between and "woke" them.

Car Hart is just the latest of the newly "woke" companies.

Now, we have a "woke": military/National Guards, media, Follywood and probably any federal or state agency with a small group of employees to thousands of employees.

Finally, most schools at all levels, colleges, and universities are now totally controlled by Woke Zealots not at all interested in how to educate their students. Their goals are to increase their paychecks/retirements and to basically ban any parent interested in a good education of their kids.

Now, they, openingly push their Woke Agendas at all levels, 24/7.
