Trump is political toast. In a year, his association with Operation Warp Speed will be political poison. No matter his motives, the mRNA vax will be seen as mass murder poison in one year.

Pompeo is looking great these days.
I like Rand Paul. His “Penny Plan” to reduce our massive, out-of-control, corrupt central government offered a modest start to the HUGE problem we have. He’s been the only sane person in DC - from what I’ve seen.
I like Pompeo. I think he would make a good president, as far as I know.
Why is it always the case that people in their elder years after dropping 60 or so pounds looked like they aged 30 years?
Now instead being fat, they look ancient.
I think most are sick of the choosing of someone based on skin color and not qualifications. I don’t care what color someone’s skin is as long as they are conservative and qualified to do the job.

I think most agree with that. My point is that picking two white guys would give the other side a narrative that would be tough to counter.
That being said, I like Sen. Tim Scott.
However, I am going to say that in today’s world, running a ticket with two white just gives the other side a constant narrative to hammer. I think the VP nominee should be a solid Conservative minority/woman.

No. In fact, HELL NO! The best qualified is ALL that matters. No one should give a crap what fake news (with fewer watchers than Joe Rogan by himself) or demsheviks spew. They’re evil, plus they’re irrelevant.

He was a real mensch on those aggravating daily beat-downs the “press” gave President Trump in early days of COVID briefings.
I remember being impressed with his ability to articulate just why the heck we had an obligation to rescue/fly home US Citizens stranded in foreign lands amidst the pandemical paralysis of air flight.
While the goggle-brained press wondered if this was somehow unfair or hypocritical or scary or something.
I hope he runs for something. Should improve the dialogue. Not sure he should win. But his running will improve the candidate pool, and elevate the conversation beyond the usual ad hominem, strawman slaughtering, and the so popular “so’s your old man” jabber from the opposition.

The narrative is moving in that direction: Blame Trump then side step any blame.
No need to get so upset, little jerry. My point is that the so-called “undecided” voters are susceptible to such narratives. And when the MSM is pushing that narrative night and day, it makes little difference what rational people say. No matter what size pants they are wearing.
It works, especially for leaner people. Fat doesn’t dehydrate. I’ve watched overweight sailors try to get within standards to save their career, and for people with lots of fat and little muscle, it’s not as effective. Same as you get older, the body shuts down faster as you dehydrate.
For athletes, it’s pretty unhealthy to take it to the extreme. I’ve seen guys weighing in that looked like they were in Auschwitz, and had to be helped on and off the scale. I think a lot of wrestling programs have gone to same day weigh-ins to eliminate large weight cuts.
I like this idea! As much as we all like DeSantis, I would hate to see him leave FL and spend 4 less effective, less productive years as VP...would rather he run as the VERY popular, VERY effective 8-year governor of FL.
