apparently harmless additives

Has there ever been any such thing? Preservatives, additives, artificial flavoring, coloring. Science will be the death of us.

FDA should either remove it from circulation, or issue a strong warning.

Trehalose is an unusual disaccharide of glucose linked “head to head” in an α-(1→1)-linkage (see Chapter 11) and notably is absent from mammalian cells.

Good for plan stress though........................

I’ve had c dif. focus of the treatment was more antiboitics to treat what was caused by antibiotic. Dentist prescribed wide antidote to treat my infected tooth. 3 treatments , next was the fecal transplant but I got better before. Afterwards was discussion of diet and I take probiotic everyday.

A friend of mine just yesterday told me he has a case of shingles. He just had his booster shot. I wonder if there’s a connection?..........................

This happened many years ago....I knew a guy who never got the flu shot, he was in his 60's at the time and he wife would nag him every year to get the shot and every year he'd refuse, finally, one year she nagged him to the point where he couldn't take it anymore so he got the flu shot, a few days later he ended up with a severe case of shingles, she then nagged him to get a shingles shot, SMH, he then refused to never get either one of them.

On another note, my grandmother and my aunt would get the flu shot every year and every year they'd get sick. Grandma is long gone now, but, my aunt still gets it and still gets sick. I asked her why she does this and she said "because my doctor said I should".

Very fascinating.

What an amazing finding! “…these particular bacteria need about 1,000 times less trehalose to live off than other varieties of C. difficile, thanks to their genetic make-up.”

Makes you wonder what else is in our highly processed and heavily preserved foods.

Shingles tends to occur when you immune system is weak, so when it’s down regulated/suppressed by the shots, it breaks through. I don’t think it’s totally spike protein. If you get into the weeds of the article I posted the excerpt from, there is an explanation, but it’s pretty technical. The bottom line is that your God-given innate/adaptive immune system is being reprogrammed by the shots & not in a good way.

In fact, these particular bacteria need about 1,000 times less

Mathematically and grammatically incorrect.

My thought too, George. I love reading ingredient lists, and “trehalose” doesn’t ring a bell. You’re probably right that it’s one of the many exotic chemical ingredients that manufacturers aren’t required to list. I read recently, for example, that an aluminum compound is widely used in grated and sliced cheeses, among many other food items, but never appears on ingredient lists. And of course aluminum is highly destructive of the brain and nervous system.

The only non-poisonous foods are grass fed beef and pastured free range chicken. All other foods have downsides.

That and fruits, nuts and veggies you grow yourself without a bunch of chemicals. That rules out most commercial fruit trees because they need constant spraying. Persimmons, plums and pawpaw grow wild here. Service berries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries as well. We have acid soil obviously. Good luck getting the blueberries and service berries before the critters do though. Walnut, hickory nut & hazelnut grow wild. You can get by most years growing peaches without any input except compost. Komatsuna aka spinach mustard will self seed and basically become a perennial here in MO.

There's a system called permaculture that's big on food forests where you basically grow as much wild edibles as possible and then work in some commercial crops as companion plantings. That reminds me. While not native, shiitake mushrooms grow good here in the Ozarks so I plan on growing them again this year and do it as close to year round as I can. Sorrel grow wild here.

Need to go big on the garden this year and buy a bunch more canning jars. Many veggies are low/zero maintenance. Canned 14 pints of chicken stock yesterday. The way food prices are going, it's well worth the effort to grow your own food now. I've got meat goats and one egg layer. She's a survivor. Last of 6 and has outlived the others by two years by avoiding the hawks so I want her to raise some chicks. I quit feeding her two years ago and she still lays most of the year. Plan on getting a small breed of pig this year. Might do a batch of meat birds for the freezer.

Viruses, empty shelves, high prices, chemicals, preservatives and additives. They're trying to kill us. Processed food is basically cancer in a box. Baker Creek seed catalog came in yesterday and I've got seed saving manuals.

"I’ve never seen that word TREHALOSE on anything."

It's a new one on me- wonder if it's lumped in with "natural ingredients"?

Food ingredient laws need to change where manufacturers, while they can refer to something as "natural colors" or "natural flavors" on the product because of space limitations, also must list every ingredient on a website for the public.

The amount of "Franken-food" keeps increasing.

Hopefully, my Baker Creek catalog shows up today or tomorrow (since I’m in a neighboring state)...already have an online order together, but always room for more!

“Just looked it up.
‘Trehalose’ is derived from insect cocoons.”

Shellac too! I do not know if it is still done but shellac was used to coat tablets.

She has the wrong doctor

Yeah, but, she's pushing 90 y/o now so she's not going to change and there's no reasoning with her. She told me way way back how she gets the shot every November and how she's sick for Thanksgiving, so a couple of years ago, she said screw it (her words) and got it in December, and of course, she was sick for Christmas. SMH. My grandmother passed in 1989 so this has been going on for many many years.

To: who knows what evil?

I’m in MO about 100 miles North of them but who knows how they send them out. Alphabetical order? Zip code low to high? Random?

I bought a bunch of seeds last year and the year before and ended up doing things other than the garden. Not neglecting it this year.
