Dorsey was actually forced out of the company. Makes me wonder how much of a hand Dorsey actually had in recent Twitter decisions to block certain people.

That is correct. He took so much VC money, they controlled the company. The same is not the case with his 2nd startup Block (previously known as Square/CashApp). He is the clear boss there, as he used his own money to fund it.
