My doctor has me take that combo or Benadryl and Pepcid AC as a first step after wasp stings to see if that is enough without having to use an epipen. Pepcid AC is an H2 blocker. So far, it’s worked great for me the one time I got stung. (This is after discovering I have a new allergy to wasp stings).

Lactoferrin and antihistamines are easy to find at drug and/or vitamin stores and via Amazon.
Why raise any more red flags than necessary?
This is a really big deal. The original study was published in Pathogens on Nov 20, 2021.
All those influencers on our side that are anti-vax mandate should raise this flag high and run with it.

Benadryl? Hot dog, gonna buy some today. Or look in med cabinet, may be there.
Did not work for wasp stings for me, though doc said it would. Finally gave me a week-long course of epi. So Benadryl might not work for me for anything.
It may be that Zyrtec or claratin will not be work the same as they are different generations of antihistamines.
For instance Claratin can be used for bone pain during treatment for leukemia/blood cancer treatments . When cells are rapidly multiplying, it causes bone pain due to the inflammation from histamines being produced. Only Claratin works tho. Not diphenhydramine etc.
