To quote Donald Rumsfeld: “We don’t know what we don’t know”.
Why would they want to come to our backward “neighborhood” and just buzz around? Joyriding in such a place makes no sense.
They have been searching for years to find the intelligent life down here. So far - - NADA!
I’m reminded of the Monty Python movie “Life of Brian” where you had the drunk aliens joyriding around over Jerusalem.
The plasma theory is interesting.
It leads in the direction of my theory that these may not be objects. They may be living beings that are not composed of solid bodies like we are used to seeing.
Even in the normal realm of this world, most flying things are alive, not machines.
I recall reading fairly similar potential explanations about 1975-80, in a moderately popular book.
The book was exploring possible ways to explain UFOs outside of alien technology.
The idea of some sort of image phenomena was considered.
Images have zero mass, so images can move very fast with immense accelerations.
Consider a laser do moving across the moon.
Swamp Gas?
Humans study earthworms, lesbians, cacti, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, jellyfish, slime mold, boy bands, ... All kinds of things that may not really be important to our existence.
Why do you assume they would have to be sentient?
Why would you assume what makes sense to us would make sense to UAPs?
They might be a purely natural phenomina, which in rare circumstances appears to be "controlled".
I wonder how much CIA paid this writwer to put this bilge in print? The campaign to take control of the narrative is ramping up. A great delusion lie is coming ...
Plasma doesn’t give the kind of radar reflections that have been seen on occasion (not always).
I wondered that too. The imaged (multiple spectrums and better resolution than any of us have seen,) craft were visible on radar and laser tracking systems.
Reports from military personnel stationed at nuclear weapon silos suggest that whatever these are they are able to interfere with the functioning of their silos. Maybe radiation from a plasma could do this but less likely than an intelligently controlled craft.
What would be scary is if the technology is extra-dimensional. What we perceive is only in the third dimension and the UAPs are only visible to us when they intersect with our space. They exist outside of our perceptual planes at the same time that they intersect with our perceptual plans, so they can easily intersecting presence is acted upon in ways that seem impossible to us.
The gravity well theory the Bob Lazar went on about was kind of compelling. Create a gravity well that peirces space time and links two areas in space time, creating travel not bound by relativity.
I’m interested in such phenomena. But anything from THIS administration is most likely a diversion
You are assuming they came from some distant star. There is more than likely a fair chance they are from here and never left.
One has to assume that in 4.5 billion years only one intelligent species arose, and assume that is because of evolution which works very very slooow.
That is not taking into account that we do not know with any certainty the origins of our civilization. Why did the Sumerians count base 60 which is more efficient than our base 10, and where did those notions come from?
Maybe we are in their backyard and they are tired of it:)
