If you know someone with lung cancer, please consider having them checked for T. Gondii. It may be possible to provide a medicine that can keep an active infection down.

Once infected, no one ever gets rid of T. Gondii. Our bodies merely hold it at bay.

T. gondii is capable of infecting virtually all warm-blooded animals, and is commonly acquired by consuming raw meat or infected water or soil or handling cat litter.

Wow. Is this the same parasite that pregnant (or soon to be pregnant) women need to avoid (by staying away from soiled cat litter and cats generally) to avoid miscarriages or congenital problems for their newborn?

Ivermectin is effective against various types of worms. Toxo is a protozoa. Wiki lists a few drugs used to treat it, but doesn't say if they actually eliminate the parasite or just relieve the symptoms.

None cure the infection, but some can help reduce an active infection.

I’ve read a (disgusting) but probably accurate theory that homosexual behavior is also driven by Toxoplasma gondii.

Fenbendazol also is an anti parasitic medicine for dogs, and I personally know two people who got rid of their cancer with it. Neither was lung cancer though. But Google fenbebdazol [and] cancer. you will be amazed.
