La Ninas usually mean warmer - Less snow in the Northeast
Just as the Liberals in the NE were going to suffer due to their policies causing fuel shortages and/or high fuel prices God bails them out again.
It’s a perfect article for a forecast, “maybe yes, maybe no”
The forecast is 70% yes.
Money line, baby.
Some say it’s deja vu 2013.
Rd later.
And guess what produces the wind stream?
The Sun....🌞
Actually, there is pretty good evidence that those currents are heated by underwater volcanoes.
The late A.J. Strata who worked for NASA used satellite imaging to pretty much prove that.
Weak solar flux means weak La Nina.
No respite for the NE: cold winter and high fuel prices.
Geeze, after a while you’d think they’d catch on. Nope, they’re ideologues.
They’ll pay 50% more for energy and keep their thermostats lower while they curse Trump, global warming and energy companies for their misery.
Straight out of 1984.

Hoping the Rockies get a billion tons of snow.
Which is the bigger one, Le or La?
Heard one is as bad as the other. Expect snow, cold and deep dark depression. FJB
Meanwhile, El Pendejo hit D.C. in January and there’s no end in sight.
I would add a caveat. Antarctica and the southern hemisphere have been record setting freezing their buns off this winter (our summer). This could seriously impact the low side of temps in the northern hemisphere.
“During a La Niña period, the sea surface temperature across the eastern equatorial part of the central Pacific Ocean will be lower than normal by 3–5 °C (5.4–9 °F).”
So what happens if La Niña lowers surface temperatures 10 °F or more below normal?
Works for me.
La Niña is a cutesy term invented years ago to equalize sex representation in weather terms. El Niño is a reference to the Christ Child. The Christ Child was not fraternal twins consisting a girl and a boy, much as the pagan weather service would have it.
I don’t care who you are that right there what you said is funny!
We’re in a heavy drought in Southern California - yet the governor is taking in the most Afghani refugees, illegals continue to pour into the state and I’m seeing plenty of high rise apartment buildings going up.
But I’m asked to tighten my belt when it comes to water and pay more and more and more...
