Without Shatner, Nimoy, and Kelly, Takai would never have had anything at all.
Without those guys there would have been no movies where all of them finally had a chance to make some serious retirement money on an old TV series that was a ghost hit on TV and they never got any residuals , that according to De Forrest Kelly in an interview I once saw and yet he wasn’t bitter. But it was sweet for them all later with with a string of hit movies.
