Probably a big reason this story has gone on and on is the strange timelines about the whole thing...When, where, why, how...So many different locations for everything involved...

I was a big Yankee fan, growing up in NYS....Thurman Munson was a true hero to my family and I....that was back when I really loved the yankees....Munson, Roy Clark, Bobby Murcer, IIRC....
when we moved out west, I can tell you exactly the place I was when Munson's death was announced...
That certainly is a contender for the press attention. My reason is that it's not about destroying my country while I helplessly watch.

Strangulation is usually a spur of the moment, crime of passion, deep anger. The last time Gabby was seen alive was at the Merry Piglets restaurant on August 27th. Brian had a meltdown yelling at staff. He left and came back 4 more times to rage at them. Gabby was crying and apologizing to the staff.
