It was good to find out in your link how ivermectin works to treat COVID infections:

The article did not reveal the references cited by the footnotes. It would be good to see what was being referenced.

I question whether ivermectin is as effective for the Delta Variant. Since ivermectin affects the Spike Protein, I have read that the Delta Variant has a Spike Protein that has been changed by a mutation. I wonder if ivermectin is as effective against this changed Spike Protein.

I also understand the Delta Variant causes one to go into critical illness quicker. Will ivermectin save someone who has reached that level of sickness? Will someone be able to get a doctor who will treat them with ivermectin at a time when quick treatment is essential?
