And they can still find out who you are with them.
Just takes an extra step or two

5th Amendment guarantees the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
6th Amendment guarantees the right to a fair and speedy trial along with a host of other protections regarding going to court
8th Amendment of the Bill of Rights prohibits cruel and unusual punishment
Just ask the folks that have been sitting in solitary confinement because they were in the Capitol on January 6th about how much protection the Constitution provides.
I see your point. And in a legit world you’d be spot on. We’re not living in a legit world anymore.

What’s the biggest reason for that?
The Conservative white folks won’t riot, tear a city apart or burn it down. Most of them still worship at the altar of ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT ARE HEROES.
That’s painting with a really, really broad brush, because I know they’re not all bad. But as we’ve seen, many are more inclined to be pawns of the state than protectors of the people.
I’m no fan of Junior. But I think the apparatus we know today is more the fault of the guy that came after him and the POSs in Congress for allowing it to grow.
The original idea was to reorganize certain agencies and to provide a ‘clearing house’ where the different agencies could deconflict and coordinate investigations.
But like anything else, Congress saw an opportunity and was allowed to run unchecked.
Interestingly, when folks like Sen Paul was raisin hell about this he was cast aside as a radical who shouldn’t be listened to.
They don’t have to lock up 100 million
They only have to publicly lock up and successfully prosecute a few. Make an example out of them.
Beat folks into compliance. Who will want prison and lives ruined after seeing a pre-dawn raid on your neighbors house?
Right now it’s the folks sitting in solitary for being in the Capitol. Would I have done what they did? No. But right now there are 1000s walking around, out in hail, awaiting trials for murder, rape, robbery, etc etc.
So were the Founding Fathers if you read some modern textbooks.

The people did their part. It’s the politicians that are to blame.
State level politicians.
If the people continue to elect the same, for whatever reason, then you can blame them.
Because I’m not sure anyone in Georgia, where I live, would have ever believed that the state leadership would have allowed to happen, what happened. Now we all know.
Interestingly, one of the folks that allowed the steal is now running for SecState. And one of his campaign pledges is fair and honest elections. Ha ha ha ha. Only a corrupt POS would think he could say that.
The screen name might have been OK, but it was what appeared to be trying to set up an “aiding and abetting” case by asking about a burner phone and how to get one that was the tip off. What agency was that again??

I’m sure there are creative ways of disappearing should the need arise, and picking up transportation some slight distance away.

Yep. They can compare locations of it and other phones, see if there’s any commonality to another phone. They can do voice comparisons. Etc.
