The new America. Want to know what is in store for us with the new DOJ? Read up on Kalief Browder. Spent three years in Riker’s Island without even a trial. These people are going to be made an example of and anyone who will dare challenge the uniparty will suffer.
But yet NM released a murderer on bail who cut off someone’s head and played soccer with it. But by golly peaceful flag waving protesters who tried to get congress to hear them peacefully must be kept in solitary?
Wish there were lawyers that could sue on behalf of the protesters over political persecution and intimidation
If you believe this is true, like I do, you should realize that this can happened to anybody.
Conservatives should fight against this sort of injustice, no matter who the victim is.
It's time for the "Law and Order Conservatives" to rethink their priorities.

I think you missed the point of my post entirely.
It will just escalate. From bigger and bigger police actions, to bigger and bigger Citizen responses.
Well that obviously isn't going to happen. In the meantime you have a bunch of people who have no business being in jail but jail is where they are. PC is just solitary confinement by another name but it's still probably their safest alternative. It's everything bad the article described but it's still better than rape or violent assault until your magic wand to release them gets waved.

Julian Assange comes to mind. Trump could have done what’s right, but didn’t. Biden won’t do what’s right. Did Americans not see this pattern has been gaining momentum for decades?
Any one of us could be next.
Therefore, the full might of the US military going to war against fellow Americans has a well established and much respected precedent.
In point of fact, we haven't fought a congressionally declared war since WWII.
I'm sure that comforts the survivors in any of the countries we've shot up and bombed flat in the past 70 years or so...

That, sir, is the point where there will be a formal declaration. Perhaps not a Congressional declaration, Congress doesn't do those anymore*, but a presidential one.
*IIRC, war crimes trials require a formal declaration of war...
