A friend has a Ferrari, nothing close to this! He also does 99% of his own work even major service.
Between the local Ferrari club and the internet groups, they keep the costs way down, knowing that many parts are not exclusive to Ferrari and showing the best prices.
$1900 to replace the battery?
Many Repairs at once are not “service” though.
WTH? With that kind of money somebody could have bought a case of 9mms.
> “A Service,” which is not specific and is listed for $2,105... <
Wildly inflated and even fake charges? Maybe the garage thought that the car was owned by the federal government.
If you have to ask how much the battery costs, you are in the wrong car! If you are paying $100 for 'gas cap tether', they saw you coming!
He should have expected Paris Milton's rack to have excessive wear.
Still not as much trouble servicing Paris, herself. :/
My GM car to replace the headlight bulb the entire front fascia and bumper cover and battery box needs removed. I did it myself, 38 bolts. I laugh when I see the same make and model running around town with one burned out bulb.
rack and ruin even!
Back in the late 80’s, my boss had a Testarossa. He took it to the Ferrari dealership in Greenwich, CT for a “tune- up”. He said it cost him nearly $6000.00, and they did little more than change the spark plugs. Again, this was back in the 80s.
Or a dozen sheets of 3/4" plywood
That is why I buy Toyotas
Sure they might be a little more money up front, but they don’t do stupid dog crap like that so you have to take it to the stealership
And in some states, you need ALL bulbs functional to pass inspection
Where did you find it that cheap? :-} Must be OSB.
The guy overpaid about 120K on that car in the first place
Ford repair house: You need a $1300 wiring harness
Me: I fixed it w/ $5 electric tape + splice cables
This is why I love Freepers.
Both of those comments made me laugh out loud...because they ring true!
$1,250 Wipers?
ERROR, that $1,250 refers to the previous item. No HTML line break.
