*** It is a defense Bill and must get passed. ***
Or what?
Don’t want Fort Hood renamed. This bill has a lot of swamp garbage in it.
Correct and the apologists for the Democrats in drag will be here soon telling us it’s all for the best.....
In other words....66 Republicans were given permission to vote against it.
All Republicans in their congressional positions prior to the 2020 election need to go.
BS. They would still get the raise in the revision and not miss a paycheck. I went through a couple of these while I was in.
Bullshit.
There is no reference to the Insurrection act anywhere in this bill.
The defeat of that particular defense bill does not mean that a defense bill would not be passed.
“With all respect, President Trump’s veto was a big FU to all uniformed servicemembers who would have lost their annual cost-of-living raise.”
They would not have “lost” it. It would merely be delayed. Not the first time. It’s happened many times before.
I can assure you, most service members are not waiting anxiously, hoping beyond hope for the 1.6% COLA raise. I am Retired Military. 28 years. And, the 1.3% Retiree COLA will have no effect on my life whatsoever. I am active in the military community here in the Tampa Bay area.

The bill approved by the House included a provision to require the executive to consult with Congress before invoking the Insurrection Act

And if he doesn’t? They already impeached him over a fake phone call.
Can't omit that one.
The NDAA has been used for years as a means by the deep state to sneak in questionnable methods to screw the American public.
It took guts for Trump to veto this. RINOs and Democrats beholden to these things voted against the veto. I haven’t seen how my guy voted yet. Nothing more important at this moment than neutering big tech.
No it does not.
I am saying that they are bullshit.
There is no reference to the insurrection act in NDAA bill that was passed
