Good to know. I think we may try Eagle Rare. Also there is another boutique bourbon called Legend that is distilled in Cumming, GA. We tried it. Its not bad but we thought a little pricey. Its on a par with Buffalo is quality wise.

When I was there in 2000, Bushmills was owned by Midleton. I guess they must have sold it off.
What they said on the tour was that at sometime in the past (maybe the 70's) there was a crash in the whisky market (maybe everyone was drinking martinis). In any case the whisky distillers all got together to join forces.
Now that whisky is the IN thing, I guess the distilleries are being bought and sold like casino chips.

from the George Washington
distillery in Mt Vernon, Va.
Bottle #295 from 2014. But
alas, it’s taste has yet to be
enjoyed.
