If our representatives don’t have the balls to stand up against fraud, then what the hell makes you think they will have the balls to stand up with a gun in hand ready to die for a newly formed nation???

Sorry I was not more complete in my premise that started this thread.

Our system of governance, with the current players, and with the current crop of voting citizens is broken. I don't care what my Representatives will do as they have shown they don't care to represent us or do the right thing.

My Call to Action is what can we, the rightful owners of our government, the citizens who care about inalienable, God-Given rights do to create a "more perfect union" now that it has been proven the current system is irretrievably broken.

It’s a bit early for this. The loss today is out of context

A request and a counter-point:

1. Please elaborate as to why you believe the loss today is out of context.
2. Would it not be best, or most prudent, to start the conversation now, and be prepared for what is most likely going to be the final scenario we face?

I have all that experience—enough to know that you have no idea what we’re up against, and hurling personal insults does nothing to bolster your argument.

Honestly, if you have done all that and still don’t get it—you are the reason the country is so f’d up.

I'm afraid that elenvee is correct and you are incredibly naive.

Texas is in a special position here for secession. Many do not realize that there are three major power grids across the continental 48 states:

There’s a power grid extending throughout the eastern United States and Canada. There’s a second grid that unites the western United States and Canada. The third grid covers only Texas and a small sliver of Oklahoma across the Red River.

Do you remember earlier this year when the fascists in the Los Angeles area threatened to shut off electricity to any home that violated the COVID orders? That’s going to happen to any protest movement the communists can’t control.

That’s why Texas must start the secession movement alone when it starts. We can defend our own power grid. We have sources of energy and we have sea ports. No other state is as well equipped to split off successfully, although Alaska might be feasible if so inclined.

Unfortunately, I think Texas’ time to do this was 10 years ago. Since then, there have been waves of Yankees, Commiefornians and other socialists flooding to Texas largely because of jobs and our pro-business economic climate. The tough sell of secession ten years ago would be almost impossible today if put to a vote.

Honestly, I don’t know. It’s easy to identify the problem, which is that the government, because it has become so powerful, attracts the wrong kind of people. Our founding fathers said that the Constitution was written for a moral people, and in government you have anything but. Many, if not most of the high-ranking civilians I worked with were completely convinced of their superiority over the masses, that the rabble just needed to shut up and do what they were told. I had one, a nerdy, completely disagreeable guy who couldn’t get a date to save his life, say that the government should give him a woman because his intellect was so superior and so vital to the world that it was the least they could do. He wasn’t joking. When you’ve got people like that seeking money and power, you’re going to end up with the mess we’ve got.

I think we need to take away some of the excessive power concentrated in Washington. That means everybody is term-limited. No exceptions. No Executive Orders. The Constitution gave the legislature the power to make laws, not the president. Same with the massive, bloated, un-elected bureaucracy. In writing regulations, they have effectively become legislators. End that. Reduce the numbers of bureaucrats and disburse the agencies across the country. Enact a law that lobbyists can’t write legislation.

Massively cut the intelligence budget. Too much money and power is being wielded in secret with no accountability. Term limit people in key positions.

Electoral reform, of course. States should agree on a system for national elections that includes paper ballots, in-person voting, national voter ID, etc.

Somehow reform the party system. We have unelected partisans deciding our choices for office. I don’t have a specific solution, but the Rep-Dem uniparty isn’t working.

Not so fast, my Texan FRiend.

The Context has changed in your favor with the unfortunate actions of the Supreme Court, and the lower courts as well, with respect to the Fraud just perpetrated on the American Electorate by the Democrats.

All of your good suggestions, in a sane world, with Trump-like conservative Representatives and Senators and Trump, or a President like him, would be attainable, however, we don't live in that world.

So, all we are left with are other options outside of the current system.

>>> My Call to Action is what can we, the rightful owners of our government, the citizens who care about inalienable, God-Given rights do to create a “more perfect union” now that it has been proven the current system is irretrievably broken.

Is the system broken?

Or are the people running it corrupt?

I believe patriots have already done what they could.
They should continue doing what they can.
That means calling your representative, and being involved in the system, even if it is being run by corrupt individuals.

Leaving the union is not the answer.... getting the corrupted people out of it is.

If that ends up requiring us to exercise our 2nd ammendment rights, then so be it.... but that is a last resort.
I think God is about to expose and put down the corruption as He promised He would.

I think one of God’s favorite methods of executing justice is to take what the enemy schemes and plans and crafts against others, and causing it to backfire as they planned it on themselves.

Case in point.... They fabricated a story and tried to prove collusion against Trump to get him out of office. Now God will make sure that the real collusion will get exposed, causing BIDEN AND Kamala to be removed from office (office of president elect that is). And, it will most likely happen at the last possible moment before he is sworn in to maximize the effect against the enemy.... Just as the enemy is trying to maximize the chaos against us.

Also consider where we are in the biblical timeline.

I submit we are a LOT closer to rapture and tribulation than most realize. And YES... that can be a VERY effective evangelizing tool... IF YOU KNOW what the Bible has to say about the times we are living in. You can literally show people how God’s prophecy is unfolding before their very eyes.... validating God’s Word.

We are, in effect, saying the same thing. Just arriving at it by two different methods.

Mine, I think, will have the least amount of bloodshed because they, the Democrats and the Left, do not have the will power (or real desire )that Lincoln had to hold the union together and additionally, both sides at that time, still adhered, in general to the Judeo-Christian ethic. As a result, the Democrats and the Left will not fight, because they really just want us out of the way. We may be able to negotiate with no real bloodshed at all and end up with the same constitution.

Know this, we can no longer live with them. They have taken sides against God and us. At least, during the Civil War, the South still clung to Christianity even while they were in Error and Sin with regards to Slavery.

Now, the left and the Democrats have no loyalty to God; they have rebelled against him and defied him. They hate God and they hate the Judeo-Christian ethic.

There will be no resolution with them in our midst. None, Period.

If you accept the reality of that premise, and it is proven by their words, actions, and policy positions, you are left with very few options to resolve the situation.

1. All out war where you subjugate them and keep them "under your thumb" so to speak.
2. Or, a Divorce, in other words, Secession.

The only way this gets resolved with your approach is a massive Holy-Spirit led revival that this country has not seen since its founding when George Whitefield and other Methodist Circuit Riders, led revivals up and down the eastern seaboard of our fledgeling country. While this is the preferred approach, it is yet to be seen. And as History has shown to us, even with the Revivals that were occuring in the US and England simultaneously, we still had to fight our way out the grasp of England.

Impossible, we are comingled.

Even if we could separate ourselves from the rat 🐀 bastards, many would infiltrate our area, with murder and destruction in mind. It would be a full time job, just trying to keep them out, like we try to keep them outside our southern border. Actually, it might even be harder than that. 👎

Yes, that is a HUGE problem. We would have to secede street by street.

More like house to house, and even worse. Half a family in one house, might be leftists. It’s true in my family. A sister and a brother are leftists.

I was an intelligence officer for many years.

Good for you bro. I was just a dog faced pony soldier, air traffic controller. When you flew in and out, I am the one who got your aircraft up and down. 👍😁🤗😀🤪🤔☝️🤣😂

You are absolutely correct. Which is why when we retired we bought land in a very rural part of a deep red state, set up a small homestead, and started prepping and praying. I fervently do not want war, but if it comes, I will be ready. I took an oath.
