Might be an option if you can't get out much for a ride due to winter weather:

Season, a third-person atmospheric adventure bicycle road trip game. Through the eyes of a young woman from a secluded community, explore the world for the first time. Collect artifacts and memories before a mysterious cataclysm washes away the world...

"similar to making a time capsule," in that you're assembling the elements that you think will best capture the spirit of the moment and carry it forward for the future. The world around you blends both the past and the present, the mundane and the surreal, and as sad as it sometimes is to let these things go, "you are not there to stop the change but to bear witness to it, to make recordings and attempt to understand what is being lost before it’s gone."

That’s some insane trail riding, especially the jump over the tree trunk.

That is one impressive “feature”!

If the trails are clear of snow, it’s sunny, calm, and above 35 degrees, it can make for a nice ride as long as I layer up on the clothing.

Yup. Getting out on the trails today ahead of the forecast weekend rain. It’s sunny, calm, and 45 degrees with no snow on the ground.

Hey Berlin_Freeper, here is an article about an unfortunate collision where an out-of-control truck smashed into twenty cyclists near Las Vegas, NV and killed five of them. Many of the FReeper responses blaming the cyclists is something your Ping List might be interested in reading.

So much would like to head out like that.

Alas, 55 years old and no bike experience doing is not likely.

Thanks for the great pic though!

At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we treat numerous head injuries in our Emergency Department, as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. As a result, we are passionate about helping parents to avoid a trip to the emergency room. And the best way to do this is through prevention, starting with a helmet.

Yeah, I’m still a little apprehensive about riding when it’s wet, cold or icy after crashing and breaking my leg 4 years ago.

Get a magnetic trainer for your bike and ride indoors. There are plenty of ride-along YouTube video's available for free.

A magnetic trainer for your bike allows you to shift gears to increase resistance while riding to increase / decrease speed.

I have one and I use it during the winter.
