The Trump Party is a pro-freedom, pro-business, pro-worker, pro-opportunity party, but we need to shed the RINOs and bring in those “moderate” (i.e., non-doctrinaire) libertarians who are willing to be part of a coalition.

You don’t have to agree with us on everything, but you have to agree with our broad principles.

Walk away?

Nope

I have supported, and will continue to support, INDIVIDUALS who have a proven conservative track record.

I donate to INDIVIDUAL election campaigns, and never, NEVER, send a nickel to the Party Conglomerate.

I suggest you rethink your position and support the INDIVIDUALS who support you.

There are some good Republicans, but the party itself is rotten. Several years ago, Sarah Palin suggested a new Freedom Party, which would be a broad pro-liberty coalition, but without the progressives or the RINOs.

Correct! The “Progressives” and RINOs can join forces and call themselves the Democrat Republican UNI Party for all I care! The Socialists will call themselves just that “Democratic” (sic) Socialists Party and we can have ours!! Let those two parties split the 49% of the electorate and we can have the winning 50+%!

Sorry but No “INDIVIDUAL” has a chance to stand alone! There are some good people in government but they dare not come out and go “against” the system as INDIVIDUALS! Only in a Party that WILL have their and OUR backs do you win in today’s world!!

You go ahead and put on a little dress and bend over. Me, I’d rather not.
No, your probably the person that prefers to take a load to the face and say, “thank you, may I have another?”. Which is exactly what what both parties want out of their subjects.

The original poster never said anything about giving up, but instead forging a new path which can be a hell of a lot harder than just accepting the status quo; which is clearly broken.

Thank you! I’m in NYC- the bluest of the blue hellholes (moving to FL next year before the next Commie Mayor is elected) and I’ve been fighting these Rats from ground Zero literally!! I’ve SEEN what changes people’s minds and the GOP is not it! The Democrats are the most corrupt party on Earth and I use to simply forgive the GOP for being stupid but after Tuesday I finally realized that they are IN on the SCAM all along!! Support that? HELL NO!

I'm glad that was 'your' takeaway from that post. I guess it means that you really are a take-it-to-the-face kind of guy.

GOP needs to re-platform. Have you ever heard of a pro life socialist? Me neither. Conservatives should fight abortion on a cultural level, not law. We can probably save just as many babies through outreach. The Dems will abort themselves over time. Then we can at least bring more people in the party who are also pro capitalist, anti immigration for terroristic religions, and still have a great place for our kids and grandkids to grow up in. We are supposed to be the big tent. I bet 10-15 procapitalist, antiterrorism citizens cast votes for Biden just out of fear of anti-abortion laws. And now we really lose (at least so far) losing Trump in the white house will me a huge deal for so much we believe in.

I walked away years ago, took my children and wife with me. We left the GOP because it did not represent us. If every Trump voter dropped their party affiliation, went independent it still would not wake the GOP up. But it might worry them when they do not see the money.

I would love a legit third party but that's not going to happen. Maybe a single large Independent Voter Pac. Like AA for former GOP conservatives who love this country and want our freedom and elections back. Instead of giving money to GOP candidates we donate to the PAC. The PAC would fund the State and Federal candidates of our choosing, but also fund battles for conservative issues before State and Federal governing bodies. Members of the PAC would donate say $50 annually to be a member. People can donate more, but $50 annually to be a member, $100 annually to be a voting member. Voting members vote in May of an election year for our State and Federal candidates and that is who the PAC supports. No glitzy conventions or delegates paid to go to conventions. We would need a President, Independent Accounting firm to manage funds and a commission to select issues and buy commercials. Keep it simple with 90% of funds going to elections and 10% max to Staff. No offices, No parties. Staff gets money for computers, printers and everything including the Commission meetings are done over Zoom or some such entity. Problem would be keeping Trolls from paying the fee to mess up the vote. Just random thoughts maybe that would never work. Just takes my mind off the visceral angry I am feeling towards fellow Americans.

All good points hence why so many people who already walked away from the Democrat party were willing to vote for Trump even if they didn’t share his views on abortions or other social issues. The GOP cannot (just like the Democrats) and will NOT be reformed! These are 160 plus year old institutions that will NOT easily give up power to the masses (i.e us plebs)! They will keep stabbing us in the back at every turn and take our money gladly while doing it! No, they must be fractured and their power stripped away from them through “free market” competition (i.e. build a better mouse trap)! Trump can offer that like no one else in modern history! A new party that gains members every single day will scare the living daylights out of BOTH parties but by the time they realize what to do about it....it’ll be too late!

All excellent points and I like some of your ideas! I agree with you that if tomorrow a lot of Trump Supporters dropped their affiliation to “independent” then not many would notice or get much media attention!! But could you imagine if on Day One- 10 Million Republicans (and Democrats) dropped their party affiliations and joined “_______” new American First Party? And every day 100,000 people join and contribute like you’re proposing! This would be the Second “Shot heard around the world.” The GOP would scramble desperately to stop the bleeding. The Dems would be so arrogant that initially they’d think it’s only hurting the GOP. Then they’ll start bleeding voters as well! What a beautiful thing that would be!!

If you allow Democrats to break the Republican Senate majority, it will be all over. No more democracy, representative republic, constitutional republic or whatever stupid semantics you want to argue instead of taking real action.

Get out the vote in Georgia, or you’re all through, permanently.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan “I didn’t leave the Republican Party, it left me.” They became Democrats. I’m a conservative, constitutionalist first. It became very clear burning Obama’s last term that Washington Dems and Republicans are playing for the same team. They are both bought and paid for by the same globalist masters.

We’ll start by inviting the few good Republicans, then right-leaning independents and third-partiers. Build from there.

Just keep the Establishment progressives from allying with the socialists.
