Andy Griffith was on TV shilling for ObamaCare before it was passed.
As Christ said, "give to Caesar what is due Caesar and give to God what is due to God".
Joe Biden claims to be Catholic but his voting and other actions indicate otherwise. President Trump is not Catholic, although Melania is, and do not forget Persian King Cyrus the Great, a Gentile called upon by God to free the Jews from Babylon which he did after he conquered it.
“stars” should be in quotes.
The public had to be reminded which characters several of the “stars” played and would be hard pressed to think of another role they ever had.
Here’s one from Ralph Malph

What about Chuck? We know who Joanie and Mr. C are voting for.
I was in high school when this was on. I liked it at first. It started shortly after American Graffiti, which started a 50's revival. But I was bothered by the lack of any real 50's atmosphere in the show, and grew tired of it. I'm sure I would find it unwatchable today.
Hmm ... couldn’t get Scott Baio, I guess. LOL
Scott Baio once attended a Conservative seminar -—— sat with Bonanza star Lorne Greene.
Mega-star Esther Williams was also there.
“I must be the only American who has never watched Happy Days...Dallas...Taxi...Seinfeld...Law & Order...The Bachelor...Survivor...”
Nah.
I missed all of those too.
For some reason I don’t feel deprived or out the loop.
The happy days refers to the Eisenhower years in contrast to the winding down of the Vietnam war and Watergate years when it was first broadcast.
I set my DVR for "Gunsmoke", especially the black&white ones.
[One of the last DragonCons we attended Donny, Anson, and Erin were there.
We went to a panel they had and they all struck me as fairly normal people.]
“I like Ike. My bike likes Ike.”
No lie. I said those words to someone last week when he told me he watches reruns. I said the same of Laverne and Shirley. Then again very few sitcoms hold my attention.
As I recall Richie was for Stevenson to impress a girl but Fonzie was for Eisenhower.
I’ve been a “Fifties Fanatic” most of my life. I watched the first episode of “Happy Days” (Bill Haley’s “Rock Around the Clock” was the theme song) and was disappointed. It was Phifties Phony. American Graffiti was more authentic, even though it took place in 1962.
And Ron Howard is a freakin’ communist, anyway.
Yep, I have wondered whatever happened to Chuck. From what I hear, they never explained on the show, what happened to him, why he disappeared, never to be spoken of again.
I had such a crush on Erin Moran.
“.... I have wondered whatever happened to Chuck. ....”
He joined the Wisconsin Republican Party !
My very catholic aunt would say, rosary around her wrist, the democrats! I loathe them. They strapped us with welfare and social security. Just wait and see what thatll cost you people
