His limited dietary preferences began when his mom Wendy Hughes began weening him off breastmilk. Soon, his pickiness gave way to several years of consuming only breakfast-style sausages and water, three times a day, every day.
Hughes, 55, told SWNS that she was at her wit’s end by the time she called David Kilmurry, a cognitive behavioral hypnotherapist who believed he could shake the teenager’s bizarre eating habits — a clinical condition called Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

Which she voluntarily bought. I can't imagine kowtowing to a toddler in my grocery buying, or anything else, for that matter. And I've lived through four of them.

my grandson must have this...he drinks milk, some water, white bread, french fries, vanilla ice cream or shakes, and chicken nuggets....no beef, no other potatoes, no veggies....

It’s a disorder. I have a friend who had it. Not quite this severe, but pretty close. Something happened when she was around 3 and suddenly she stopped eating almost all foods. I started expanding her diet at around 18.

My cousins kids had to give up the Nerf dart guns they loved to play with when NewRescueDog decided it was ever so much fun to chase, catch— and eat them.
