But I think there are better female options for Trump than Barrett or Lagoa. To me it stinks that he seems to have narrowed it to the two of them. You’d almost think Kushner’s handlers gave him that short list.
It’s far easier to go after a male candidate and fabricate sexual abuse stories than a female candidate. It limits the narratives they can use, although I think they’d go after her faith instead.

I guess I’m very naive, but I don’t believe that the Court is something with which to play temporal politics. If these women are the best available, then that’s fine. But I’m not seeing any names besides those!
