I don’t have time to review the video, but what I saw was a line of bike cops and this guy got separated from the group. Rioters grabbing at his bike, tossing stuff at him, then he got clobbered up the side of his head.
Those people standing there look like cops because of the dark outfits and professional looking helmets, but I think they were all rioters.
I’ve seen various videos about antifa tactics. Picking off the last cop in a line would make sense.

Exactly right. I was looking for police academy enrollments recently. I found that the San Francisco PD is not even able to fill all of their academy slots. So not only are cops taking early retirement and quitting, the pipeline with new cops is not full. This does not bode well for the nation in the coming years.

I think that police horses should be trained for battle, as in medieval times, and that their riders should be trained to use them as weapons. No rioter would want to be kicked, bitten, or just ridden down and trampled.
