You’re and idiot...just an observation.

Oh. So I'm not reading the articles about proning correctly? Floyd had COVID. This is a treatment for COVID to help the patients breathe easier. What's the problem?

I’ve learned from 9 years of advanced medical education that you don’t know anything. Leave the medicine to the professionals.

Floyd died because he had way over the lethal dose of Fentanyl in his body, along with meth, and other drugs too numerous to mention.

OK, thanks for your opinion. There's also a coroner's report, and I'll be going with that.

Has to be a troll, right? Nobody could honestly believe this nonsense, I hope.

"Leave the medicine to the professionals."

Oh yeah, and what's next? We'll have to leave flying passenger jets to pilots now too?!

So proning is not a good treatment to help COVID patients breathe? If you think that you need more advanced medical education.

If the cop had shot him in the head you would see just as much twisted logic justifying it.

No mention in the article of Saint George having a baggie of Fentanyl in his rectum. Maybe that’s why he evacuated his bowels while being held down by the cops. It’s certainly the reason he died.
If the cops hadn’t shown up so quickly he would have died driving away from the scene. Remember all the articles about Fentanyl coming in from China. All those articles mention a small amount of Fentanyl being enough to kill hundreds of people.

Also for all of the people claiming Saint George had 190 pounds of weight on his neck. You might want to consider remedial education classes. When a police officer is kneeling with one knee on the ground and one on a perps neck theres nowhere near 190 lbs of force applied to the neck. Unless the officer weighs 5-600 pounds.

You assertion that what happened to George Floyd was some sort of heroic treatment and that the cops did the right this is without a doubt the most stupid thing I have ever heard

First when you prone someone you do it with frames and padding under the body to maximize the physics increase something called West zone 2 which is optima ventilation and perfusion. Putting a knee on someones neck tends to screw up one of the important parameters of gas flow

Secondly you crest restrictive pathology by proning on something hard. Like cement.

Thirdly a true proned patient keeps the head in midline without deviation to the left or the right.

Let me put it to you plainly. You are not only a moron. You are an assh*le who has read a few medical journals. Stick to something more of your level. I recommend Dr. Seuss books or coloring books.

Additionally what the cops did was indefensible. The trial will show the truth whatever that may be. But this desperate attempt to skid sophisticated and exonerate the bad Apple cops reflects badly on the e tire conservative movement.

Your argument is so unrefined and stupid as to not even we worth attempting to address. You can’t fix stupid. You are beyond fixable

Is that plain enough for you, moron?

The problem was they didn't do the full procedure. They forgot to knee him hard in the kidneys several times to dislodge the built up mucous in his lungs.

Forget about proning..

How about you look up George Floyd and "HOOPING" (arrest transcripts) and you'll soon realize what led to KILLING HIM.

What does the autopsy report say he died of?

Besides what some have already explained to you, cuffed behind the back, on concrete, knee to head, all of which are cited as a position exacerbating the chance of dying from excited delirium, and the rookie working with Chauvin having been recently trained mentions this twice and asks if they can reposition Floyd.
a few more facts
When describing any medical treatment, it has to be done correctly. Done incorrectly there are countless ways to kill a patient accidentally while performing treatments, whether it’s administering IV fluids or performing wound care, etc.
You state, “I see no mention of arm position”, trust me it is important and cuffed behind your back puts full weight on your abdomen and chest into an immovable surface, the street.
Google any article on proning to promote breathing and it is quite specific with pictures, but at a hospital you will be trained on all of it. You are on a soft bed, the head of the bed in inverted so that you are lying slightly upside down, pillows are place under your abdomen and chest to give even more cushion and to promote comfort while asking the patient what feels best, the arms are comfortably at your side.
Your texts here describing the positioning of Floyd by Chauvin as being put in the prone position like you’ve read they do for Covid patients is unintentionally humorous at first, but now embarrassing as you politely keep defending your position.
Please stop, you appear to be an otherwise intelligent and nice person. I do think Chauvin has some arguments that give him a better chance than most would concede of getting off, but it isn’t good odds.
Also, I agree Floyd was in trouble already because of the drugs he took. He did look in medical distress and said “I can’t breathe” before ever resisting arrest as they first tried to put him in the car. I believe that’s why an ambulance had been summoned.

Do you know they practically scrubbed the internet of this reference? You can find it but only after going through pages of hula hoops references. But yeah the officers noted that he was foaming at the mouth and he said yes, he had been hooping earlier in the day.

depends on the reason for difficulty breathing. for a limited number of things it can be helpful for most not so much

He may have. He did so face down on the pavement with no one attempting to render aid. You need to accept that

depends on the reason for breathing difficulty. Proning is only useful in. sry limited circumstances

You win the prize for making the most insults in a post with few facts! First when you prone someone you do it with frames and padding under the body to maximize the physics increase something called West zone 2 which is optima ventilation and perfusion. Putting a knee on someones neck tends to screw up one of the important parameters of gas flow Secondly you crest restrictive pathology by proning on something hard. Like cement.

Do you have references for any of this?

Thirdly a true proned patient keeps the head in midline without deviation to the left or the right.

Look up google images and "proning". Every single picture has their head turned to the left or right.

Additionally what the cops did was indefensible. The trial will show the truth whatever that may be.

The police violated no department policy. Everything they did was by the book. He knew he was dying long before he was restrained. He was acting erratically from the very first. He had taken drugs, by his own testimony, up his anus earlier and was foaming at mouth as pointed out by police in the initial stop. Many drugs were in fact found in his system. He had COVID 19 which he admitted that he was still recovering from.

About the ONLY thing the police didn't do was try to administer CPR and we don't know why they didn't do that yet.

It was not meant to be humorous. Irony was really what I was going for. It's ironic that he had trouble breathing...no doubt due in no small measure to COVID 19 and the illegal drugs he had stuck up his anus...and that they ended up putting him into a prone position which is now a valid lifesaving treatment for Covid 19.

They called an ambulance. That was after he fought like hell when they tried to put him in the car.

There is a lesson to learn here. If you have many medical problems as well as the KungFlu you maybe should hold off on doing massive amounts of fentanyl for awhile. Just a guess.

You will not convince all 12 jurors that four cops decided to murder a black man in broad daylight because they are racists.

It only takes one juror that knows what a drug overdose does to a medically fragile career criminal and the cops go home free.
