You have missed the stories of major lay offs and furloughs at almost all hospitals across the US thanks to stopping all elective surgeries mandate by DR F ?
Where have you been .
Under a rock ?
Very sad .
Happening everywhere thanks to Dr F killing elective surgeries.
Hope your buddy’s wife stays safe.
Many have been laid off/furloughed!
My wife had a discussion about this issue this afternoon with a good friend.
The good friend’s grand daughter is studying to be an RN, she is an EMT and a seasonal Fire fighter.
No jobs up here in N. California with hospitals laying off people. She went on the internet and signed a 3 week contract to be a CV tech at a major hospital in the LA area.
They paid for her air fare down and back. She was put up in a paid good hotel with 2 meals a day and for 3 weeks. She will be returning this weekend to the Bay area.
Her granddad asked her, how many patients spoke English. She said zero. Of course in LA, that may be normal.
The link below will take you to basically the same story.
Shut down elective treatments. Staff goes home - finds other jobs. Need staff - complain.
Go to the neighboring hospitals and hire the doctors and nurses laid off because they are not ICU.
I know a deadbeat guy who happens to be a nurse - he claimed to have it for 8 solid weeks and managed to miss a lot of work.
Or, does this just shows how deadly, no diabolical, this virus is. It can sense a Trump rally or wedding, church service and infect everyone there at. But it has been mutated to have a PC gene that allows it to be woke so as not to infect a BLM protestor. Yes, diabolical.
