From my point of view the tea party was killed by the IRS abuse

Did McCain not realize that the hobbits saved the world?

We are still around, however, the media is ignoring us or saying we are kooks. The Tea Party is the silent majority of all colors of Americans...

That was my take on the TP, too. Lots of emotion driving their actions but little rational planning or execution. The liberals will work decades to make a single small advancement.

And what I am saying is that we need to get off our duffs and get busy, like we did in 2009. What made us old geezers get out and protest en masse (in the tens of thousands), and not now? I think that we are missing the leaders of that day. I would take that role on myself if my age and health permitted it. I hope that some of the younger patriots step forward, and lead the “New Tea Party”. I will certainly follow if they are truly being led by God and Country. I know that I am like many in the “Silent Majority”, who are not sure what we should do. But I think if we don’t figure it out soon, we might very well lose the country.

Right. I mean, I loved that they were buying my books, but honestly any conservative who has never read either my “Patriot’s History” or Skousen’s “5000 Year Leap” probably doesn’t have a good understanding of either history or politics.
