Here’s my timeline (an anecdotal reference):
- Exposed to Bay County “patient zero” on March 9.
- Developed mild symptoms of Upper Respiratory System Inflammation [URSI] (appearing as mild bronchitis) by March 18 as well as sinus inflammation.
- Immediately started once-daily antibacterial regimen, Tylenol, decongestant and “menthol/eucalyptus” therapy (Vicks Vapo-Rub) with plenty of rest. (Note: I have experienced seasonal bouts of bronchitis throughout my life).
- I isolated with only my wife in proximity.
- Cough and inflammation subsided by March 22.
- Consequently, I consider myself immune and non-contagious.
- My wife has had no indications of infection.
- My blood type is ‘O’-positive.
Wow
okay so it lasted about two weeks. That’s interesting. Sounds like there was discomfort but you never felt like your life was in danger. People don’t understand that taking antibiotics can be very important because a body weakened from a virus can lead to bacterial pneumonia.
I am glad you got better
