May she rest in peace. Condolences to her family & friends.
“Youre spot on about a cancer cure. Everything is incentivized to keep fundraising and treatment on the treadmill. Sam old, same old. A cure would see all of that come crashing down.
Some young, hot shot naive researchers that arent in the big pharma game experimenting in their basement will eventually kick the money bucket over. I believe cures already exist.”
Yes, but how will we get those lovely daffodils for $1 or so? ;)
Yes, I also read a couple of years ago that women on the pill are actually just a few days pregnant; they get their periods and the embryo is flushed down the toilet.
I had no idea. I took the pill when I was younger; had I known that I never would have taken it.
Apparently, there’s also a link between abortion and breast cancer. That’s another little secret that the powers that be want to be kept hidden.
I think breast cancer is genetic. ? I wonder if other or all cancers have some hereditary component.
None of the women in my family ever had it.
I’m so sorry FRiend! Do you have someone in your family with it?
Cancer is truly a scourge.
She was a lovely woman.
One reason that we hear so much about it now is that women are diagnosed at stage 0 or 1. In the old days, you weren’t diagnosed until you found the lump. Nowadays, BC is often caught when it’s teeny-tiny. Your sister-in-law has an excellent chance.
Mamy women I know who took drugs to increase egg production for invitro got breast cancer. Some died.
I didn’t know Kelly was ill. So sad.
I have always considered her to be THE most beautiful actress in Hollywood. What a shame. A gorgeous woman. RIP
Brca gene. Free test if certain conditions are met. Age is one of the parameters.
She apparently did USO appearances, like Robin Williams, Gary Sinise, Kid Rock, and others have done. I admire her for that if true.
Here is a picture of her when she was very young. Again, one of the most beautiful women in the world.
And yes, I believe she was Travolta's "beard." That has been common knowledge in Hollywood for decades. I don't know why she chose that, but that was her choice. Perhaps they had a dual relationship. Again, don't know, but it's water over the bridge now.
Btw..since she was getting treatment i wonder how that fits in with scientology..or may he is out of it. I remember how they refused to admit their son was on the autistic spectrum
Ashkenazi jews and ovarian cancer go to the head of the line for Brca test. Other parameters at play.
I had to fight to get my $6000 test and appeal to show parameters reduced for ovarian cancer. Make sure you get approval before you test to avoid issue
Who you chose to go with makes a difference. You want a big database and company with no quality control issues
Wow... she had me at hello. Prayers for her family...
And your point is? A cancer cure cottage industry isn’t the only American cash cow. You could make the same case for the war on poverty, climate change, you could probably come up with a few other “wars” nobody is really incentivized to win. That doesn’t mean good people aren’t working tirelessly for the cause.
Thanks for the info
Also. Surprisingly..just having breast cancer is not enough for a free brca test..have to meet other parameters.
I was talking about the child in your family. It’s just crushing to read when it’s a child. I am sorry
Someone here knows someone at american cancer institute. Said the higher ups are convinced genetic quirks are involved that get triggered.
Said you could swim in asbestos and not get it if you dont have a quirk
That comment still is in my mind because it was pretty dramatic
i agree with you.
