And I,like many Freepers,can afford nicer things...German automobiles,European cruises and French wines for example.
When folks like us boycott CBS,Fox and NBC on Sunday afternoon/evening the NFL will see the error of its ways.
The players are polite and appreciate the fans. They stand for the national anthem(s). Once you figure out the strategies it's a really fun, fast paced game. Unlike football, the players don't stand around for half the game.
What better way to relax on a hot August night than watch a game played on ice?
I'm partial to Texas and German wines. My local wine comes from Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, about 15 miles south of Fort Worth. They have been producing award winning wines for at least a decade, I've been a member there for over 5. High quality and reasonable prices. I've taken friends to Lost Oak who live in Napa. They were pleased with the quality, and especially the price.
My German wines are purchased from Weingut Eduard Kroth, been a customer of theirs for over 40 years. When I was stationed in Germany, I lived about 10 miles from their winery. I'd visit every 4-6 weeks, the place is now run by the son, it's been a family owned business for over 500 years.
I usually buy their Riesling, mostly Spatlese.
Charles has been a voice of relative sanity in an insane world. He’s absolutely right - I can’t not watch NBA or NFL any more than I am now, but there are a lot of others that will shut them off. Who wants to watch crybaby millionaires bleat about crap they know nothing about?

I never understood what George Floyd’s murder had to do with sports and sports leagues. All major leagues and college sport university athletic department’s made statements comndeming his death and police brutality and going off on being anti-racist. The situation exacerbated itself because the players and coaches then began supporting Black Lives Matter and kneeling.
