The protest on June 8 happened outside Tanner’s Big Orange on South Pleasantburg Drive, after the owner, John Allen Zeller, posted a comment on social media about white people taking a knee during protests to honor George Floyd.

During the protest, an SUV drove into the parking lot and witnesses told WYFF News 4 at the time that they felt threatened because the vehicle was not stopping.
